Looking for a Massage Therapist Mentor who has nearly 40 years experience in the industry?
Schedule a free consultation with me if:
You're a new therapist, you're feeling both excited and maybe you're lacking a little confidence and don't know how to market / describe your new skills to attract clients.
You're a new therapist and you've got your massage skills down, but the business side feels really overwhelming and scary.
You've been an LMT for a long, long time, and your body is starting to ache - how are you going to pivot?
You finally found your niche! Now what? How do you explain this shift to your clients so you don't lose them?
Like a trusted confidant, I'm here to listen with an open heart and guide you with nonjudgmental tough love and decades of experience.
We can definitely set goals together! I can help you break down those goals into smaller, actionable steps and provide support and accountability along the way. We can schedule regular check-ins to discuss your progress and address any roadblocks you may be encountering.
I can also offer you suggestions on streamlining your operations, choosing the right technology tools, and navigating the paperwork involved in setting up your business. I'm also happy to serve as a sounding board and help you brainstorm new ideas.
If you're looking for someone to do the work for you, I'm not your person, I'm here to support, share ideas, and boost your confidence. But I don't do the work for you. If you're looking for website building, or tech support this isn't my area of expertise. I have resources.
To get started, let's discuss your overall business goals and priorities. Once we have a clear understanding of your vision, we can begin to break down those goals into smaller, manageable steps.
Here are some questions to help you get started:
What are your long-term goals for your massage business?
What are your short-term goals for the next few months?
What are your biggest challenges right now?
What kind of support do you need from me?
About Me
I served in the military in the early to mid 80’s and went to Phoenix Therapeutic Massage College in 1988. As a veteran, I learned 3 things: focus, strategizing, and discipline, which gave me the foundation to create a practice in Sun City, AZ
I created a small practice in a chiropractic office, working with mainly retirees. I learned so much about being in business, customer service, and creating relationships with clients. In 1991, I moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan, where I started over again from zero, where I rented space in the chiro’s office, observing what a successful practice looks like. I had a fruitful practice in Ann Arbor for 14 years, mainly on referrals only.
In 2005, I moved to central Florida to be with my significant other. I had forgotten what it took to start a new practice from scratch. After a lot of blood, sweat, and tears of starting in a small community and being active in the community, I was once again feeling comfortable. Then my significant other was transferred to South Florida, and again, I started over. Since then, we have moved two more times.
Knowing all this is one thing, but getting the support and guidance to truly grow your business is another. That’s where I come in.
When I began practicing massage therapy in 1988, I primarily worked with older clients seeking pain management. Over the years, my client base has expanded to include those looking for relaxation, stress relief, and medical massage.
More recently, I’ve focused on intuitive work, energy and chi healing, and the mind-body connection, using various modalities to meet my clients’ needs.
In my career so far, I’ve completed over 28,000 sessions.
I believe that being successful in this field isn’t just about technique—it’s about you listening with both your hands and your ears, continuously educating yourself, staying flexible, adaptable, and learning from every experience.
One of the most important lessons I’ve learned is the value of asking for help and surrounding yourself with a strong support team.
That’s why I’m so passionate about mentoring other therapists.
35+ years of experience in the massage industry.
